部分溶込み溶接を用いた中実円形断面柱継手の曲げ耐力に関する研究

抄録

In this study, tensile tests and bending tests were carried out to investigate elastic-plastic behavior of solid steel column joints by partial penetration groove weld. The bending tests results shows that the strength of column joints by partial penetration groove weld reached to the full plastic moment of column. Finite element analyses were carried out to investigate yield mechanisms at welds. The numerical analyses results shows that yield area is formed along the shear line at 45 degrees from the root of weld. In the limit analysis based on the slip line fields theory, mechanism of partial penetration groove weld assumed as the shear line at 45 degrees from the root was derived. Analytical results agree with tests results.

抄録

This study focused on the opening angle of a countersunk head bolt which may have an effect on slip strength. By slip tests and Finite Element Analysis, it was found that as the opening angle increases from 90° to 96°, slip strength was improved. This is because as the opening angle increases, plastic deformation in the vicinity of the countersunk hole can be suppressed. Thereby the reduction in bolt axial force can also be suppressed. However, if the angle is more than 92° the bolt's head will be projecting from the surface of the splice plate. In such a case, the coating failure might be occurred, and corrosion durability will be decreased. Therefore, the optimum angle that can improve both slip strength and corrosion durability is 92°.

抄録

Steel-Concrete composite beam (SC beam) using hat shaped steel section has been developed by authors. This beam makes it possible to omit stirrups, reinforcements for web openings, and concrete form supports. The structural performance of this beam after concrete hardened is shown by other report. In this study, we show the validity of the one side shear connection using drill screw when the hat-shaped steel section is formed from a pair of Z shaped steel section. And also, this paper reports the result of experimental and analytical examination of the behavior of this hat shaped steel beam at the time of concrete casting.

抄録

The cleavage fracture stress pσc based on local fracture criterion is applied for evaluation index to grasp conditions of brittle fracture in previous studies[15]-[17].In this paper, it is verified that the possibility of application of cleavage fracture stress to grasp conditions of brittle fracture of beam end flanges at beam to column joints which have complicated stress conditions. In conclusion, 1) pσc is serviceable evaluation index to grasp conditions of brittle fracture of beam end flange. 2) Height of fillet=5mm detail is effective to buffer the stress and strain concentration around the scallop and the non-welded edge of submerged arc weld.

抄録

The authors proposed a technique for improving the fatigue strength of the weld root of sole plate by filling the resin. In this research, fatigue tests were carried out on sole plate specimens with and without filling the resin between sole plate and base plate. As the results of the fatigue tests, the fatigue strength of weld root was enhanced by filling the resin in the root gap. Furthermore, it was shown that the fatigue life can be estimated by the fatigue strength evaluation method using deformation of the weld root.

抄録

This study presents the behaviour of a concrete-filled steel box column under the cyclic load. The concrete-filled tube (CFT) are often used in civil structures and highrisebuildings. Although many studies on the CFT has been made focusing on the ultimate strength, ductility and optimal filled-in concrete depth, few studies have considered the rigidity of stiffener in the CFT. In this study, the numerical analysis of the concrete-filled steel box column with the stiffener under the cyclic load was performed in order to clear the influence of the rigidity of stiffener on the column behaviour. We found the rigidity of stiffener affects to the behaviour of the concrete-filled steel box column such as deformation shape, contact pressure.

This paper investigates cycling properties of the concrete-filled square steel tube (CFT) beam-columns to assess their number of cycles for limit state in the plastic region. Limit state for cyclic loading is defined by the state in which the shear force is reduced to 90% of maximum load. This investigation is based on a database including parameters such as rotation angle, axial compression ratio, width-thickness ratio of steel tube and ratio of buckling length to depth of cross section from previous test results for constant amplitude cyclic loading. Predictions from regression formulas, which involve the rotation angle, axial compression ratio as a main factor, almost agree with test results for number of cycle for limit state in the plastic region.

AASHTO shows the slip coefficient of the slotted holes is reduced by 40% from that of the normal holes, while the slip tests that conducted in Japan have shown the slip coefficient of the slotted holes is reduced by 10%. The cause of this difference in the slip coefficient reduction rate has not been clarified. In this study, we conducted the slip test of the high strength bolted frictional joints with slotted holes, focusing on the effect of the slipyield resistance ratio and tightening method of the bolts to verify the past test results. As a result, the slip coefficients of slotted holes were reduced by up to 9%, which were similar to the past results obtained in Japan.

抄録

Non-structural elements such as rectangular corrugated roof plates are usually set up on the upper flange of beams. Previous study has shown that non-structural elements have bracing effect to lateral buckling of H-shaped beams as continuous braces. Different to usual lateral braces, rotational stiffness of continuous braces play a big role in preventing lateral buckling. However, when yield strength of folded roof plates is less than the required stiffening force of the beams, stiffness decreases and the effect of bracing mentioned in the previous study cannot be exerted. In this study, bending tests and FEM analysis are used to find out the strength and the deformation capacity of two kinds of folded roof plates with different cross sections in order to be used as continuous braces.
